Job Description

WVU Healthcare/University Health Associates (UHA) – Department of Neurosurgery has a full-time opportunity for a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner with the WVU Healthcare Pain Management Center located at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.  The Pain Center offers various services for people with acute and chronic pain. Our trained health care professionals, using focused, thorough evaluation, provide the highest quality, advanced treatment to help reduce pain.

Our goal is to help our patients so they are able to return to their highest level of functioning and independence and to help them restore their quality of life.  The Pain Center is a division of the Department of Neurosurgery and part of the Spine Center at WVU Hospitals.

We offer a dynamic work environment where you are respected as a team member and your contributions are appreciated.  The section sees a variety of patients seeking neurosurgery services.  This position is full time Mon-Fri.  Typical clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work hours may vary to meet patient care needs.  New graduates will be considered.
