Clinical Activities:

• Provides evaluations for clients and management of  conditions in collaboration with the psychiatrist.
• Prescribes medications and otherwise facilitates  medication management of conditions.
• Provides education to clients experiencing psychiatric illnesses.
• Documents treatment and medications prescribed and/or administered.
• Participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for clients.
• Refers clients to additional resources as appropriate.

 

Qualifications:

• Oklahoma license as a RN and recognized by the Ok Board of Nursing as an APRN
•  National Certification
• Current RX authority, DEA, OBNDD.
• Working knowledge of psychiatric conditions, medications, and treatments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication  skills.
• Preferred—experience working with a Community Mental Health population.
