Job Description

  • Position Offered: 30-40 hour full time FNP position with benefits. Potential future partnership opportunity for the right individual.
  • Qualifications: Family Nurse Practitioner. 2+ years of experience recommended. WA State Licensure, DEA. References in good standing.
  • General Requirements: A desire for independent practice with knowledge of business and billing.  Ability to connect to patients, local professionals, and clinic staff.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficiency with women’s health procedures, dermatology (suturing and biopsy), minor urgent care, chronic disease management, and health maintenance.
  • Clinic and Medical Community: Bellingham Family Health Clinic is located in a popular mall in south Bellingham, and very close to Western Washington University. The clinic has 4 exam rooms, a small lab, and excellent support staff. Our patient demographic is upbeat, WWU students, families, working age men and women. We see some children and seniors, but their numbers are relatively small. Our demographic appreciates nutritional counseling, including evidence based approaches with healthy lifestyle and natural health options. We have an onsite acupuncturist. Bellingham has a supportive medical community with free access to technical references and resources such as Up to Date.
