PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS /NURSE PRACTITIONERS –   “Surgical” and “Hospitalist” –  SUBURBAN BALTIMORE

Lifebridge Medicine is expanding their acute care department.  Our client is seeking several experienced “Surgical Physician Assistants/or Nurse Practitioners”.   We are looking for PA’s/NP’s s with experience in the Operating Room and skilled in GYN; General Surgery and Lap.  ICU (central lines) experience is a plus.

Hospitalist (inpatient) PA/NP’s :  The prospective candidatecan comfortably rotate through all departments.   As a member of the medical staff, you will provide services to both medical and surgical patients, perform routine and complex procedures and work as a part of the healthcare team to deliver high quality care.   They cover a wide variety of areas including HCU, IMC, Surgery and ICU.  Generally your responsibilities include the evaluation and treatment of critical patients and responding to nursing calls as well as facilitating discharges of both private attending and Hospitalist patients.

Surgical Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners  – You would spend approximately  80%  in the Operating Room and 20% on the floor.  They cover a wide variety of areas including HCU, IMC, Surgery and ICU.  Flexibility and adaptability to a variety of situations is a must.  This is an employed position offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a signing bonus.   The department offers a 2 month fixed schedule.  The shifts are 8 and 12 hour shifts.    There is also a special incentive for nights and weekends.
