Job Summary
Licensed clinical professional such as Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient and outpatient medical care under the direction and supervision of a physician(s).

Job Qualifications
The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job. Physician Extender must be able successfully acquire and maintain full credentials and privileges. Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Approval and licensure by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required. Nurse Practitioner: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and approved to perform acts in North Carolina as a Nurse Practitioner.
