Job Description

Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mt., MI has an opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with interest in Emergency Medicine and After Hours Care (Fast Track). This is a hospital-employed position. Salary is highly competitive with a comprehensive benefits package.
The Emergency Department and the After Hours Care Clinic have combined visits of approximately 25,000 a year. Emergency Medicine Physicians provide 24/7 coverage in the Emergency Department.  Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant coverage begins at 10am with a second Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working 12:00 noon – 12:00 midnight. All shifts are 12 hour shifts.  Physicians and NPs/PAs work cooperatively to provide high quality, efficient and timely care to their patients.
