Nurse Practitioner – Neurology – Immediate Position

Pointe Neurology is seeking licensed Nurse Practitioner (part-time/ full-time) for outpatient clinic located in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide outpatient medical care under the supervision, but not necessarily in the presence of a neurologist.
Obtain medical history, perform physical examination, and order tests. Perform nursing functions independently. Works in collaboration with neurologist to ensure safe and efficient patient results. Nurse Practitioner will practice only in outpatient clinic. No weekends or holidays.

Education:
Must be a Masters prepared Registered Nurse who has graduated and taken the board certification within chosen specialty. Requires license as a Certified Nurse Practitioner, licensure as a Registered Nurse, and have a DEA number in Michigan.

Previous neurology experience preferred. Experience with geriatric population preferred.
