Dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to enhance our Hematology/Oncology division in Pensacola, FL. The ideal candidate will have the proven patient care and assessment skills to compassionately care for patients and families as they navigate the cancer treatment and recovery process. The successful candidate should have Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience. Experienced Oncology nurses are encouraged and welcome to apply.

Job Requirements – Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination – Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition – Administer, order and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory tests – Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about the management and treatment of patients – Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval – Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance
