Internal Medicine Practice Seeking

Nurse Practitioner – Physician Assistant

 

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join a growing practice. In this position you will examine, diagnose, and treat patients for injuries, infections, and illnesses in addition to addressing wellness and preventative care.  You will be part of a team approach dedicated to improving the delivery and quality of health care that is patient-centered. Practice works with diverse population, bi lingual preferred.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

National Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification

Licensure in the state of Nevada or the ability to obtain.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

ICD 9 Coding Experience

Experience in Primary Care, Urgent care, physicals, preventative and wellness care.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

* Document items such as: appropriate chief complaint, past medical, family, and social history, review of symptoms, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan in Electronic Health Records system

 

* Prescribe and administer medications

 

* Effective communication skills

* Ability to function in collaboration with other healthcare professionals

* Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task

* Displays initiative, is creative, has problem solving ability, is adaptable, and flexible

* Ability to practice autonomously with minimal physician supervision

* Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming and professional attitude and disposition

* Ability to work in fast-paced environment
