Job Description

Physician Assistant-Nephrology Shreveport, LA Nephrologist is actively seeking to employ an experienced or highly motivated new graduate Physician Assistant. Position offers the opportunity to join an established Nephrologist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in clinic, dialysis units and hospitals settings. Schedule includes office clinic and rounding at dialysis units and hospitals.  Approximately 1/3 weekends.  NO night-time call required. Working with Electronic Medical Records provides ease of access to patient health history and optimizes the delivery of quality care to patients. Services Include:

  • Comprehensive diagnosis and therapy for all aspects of renal disease, including dialysis treatment, acute and chronic renal failure in adults, inherited and acquired kidney problems, hypertension, management of body fluid and electrolyte disorders.
  • Consultative services of all aspects of renal disease.
  • Dialysis, acute and chronic, services for patients with kidney disease.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for Louisiana Physician Assistant License or current Louisiana Physician Assistant License
