The Hemlock Pain Center in Macon, Georgia is looking to fill an opening for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for providing healthcare services to patients under the supervision, direction and responsibility of a physician in a busy interventional pain management practice.
The PA or NP performs any functions performed by the supervising physician for which the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is qualified and are delegated by the supervising physician to perform. Such duties may include and are not limited to conducting physicals, providing treatment and counseling patients, medication management and compliance, managing patient flow, patient care and examination in a clinic setting. The NP may, in some cases, may prescribe medication. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will not perform any block procedures, however, may assist the physician if requested.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree, national physician assistant certification, current Georgia State license, and BCLS.
Salary is DOE. Competitive pay and benefits. (Day time hours, no nights, weekends or on-calls).
