NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Positions Available in two locations:
Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center – Bronx, NY
Nurse Practitioner (Job ID: 2013-1435)
Coney Island Hospital – Brooklyn, NY
Nurse Practitioner (Job ID: 2013-1412 or 2012-1133)
Responsibilities include:
- Taking comprehensive health histories
- Performing physical exams and mental status evaluations
- Diagnosing and managing common acute and chronic illness, based on service protocols and in collaboration with Attending Physicians
- Ordering, reviewing and evaluating lab and other diagnostic tests
- Obtaining and referring appropriate consultations
- Providing counseling and education to patients and their families
- Performing minor procedures such as EKG, IV, Phlebotomy, Injections, NG Tubes, etc
- Handling other related functions as necessary
How to Apply
