Job Summary

We are an integrated wellness facility, and we are looking for professionals that demonstrate a continual commitment to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care in a warm and friendly setting.

We are seeking a friendly and motivated part-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner who can treat patients kindly and efficiently. We are willing to train. This person will be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the quality and delivery of healthcare to our patients utilizing a team approach.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients of all ages with injuries or exacerbations of a physical nature
• Evaluates and treats patients on-site
• Orders testing, evaluates, and prescribes weight loss medications as needed
• Performs pre-participation physicals for camps, sports and employment
• Maintains patient charts accurately and comprehensively
• Documents patient information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Qualifications and Skills

• Kinesiology / Physical Therapy experience not required, but a plus
• Able to work independently
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

Required License or Certification:

• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required
• Must have no restrictions to practice in the State of California
