Full-Time Physician Assistant
Job Description
Centers for Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant with clinic experience specializing in gastroenterology. Primary responsibility will be caring for patients in the Fort Collins, Colorado clinic location. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, daytime hours, no call.
Centers for Gastroenterology is a well-established, highly respected Practice in northern Colorado. Our offices are located in Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley. Patients travel to our clinics from the surrounding cities and towns in northern Colorado as well as Nebraska, Kansas and Wyoming. The current opening is a new position to support higher demand for our services. The person we are looking for is professional and caring, comfortable working autonomously, and knows when to consult with the physician.
Duties include:
- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic diseases of the digestive system.
- Providing treatment and education to patients.
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare providers, staff and referring community physicians.
- Functioning within the scope of practice defined by the NCCPA.
Requirements include:
- PA license in Colorado
- Appropriate education and certification credentials.
- Prescriptive authority DEA licensure
- Current BLS and CPR certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a Physician Assistant
- Clinic experience in gastroenterology is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate appropriate documentation skills. Previous experience with an electronic medical record system is required.
