Medical Diagnostic Associates is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our outpatient oncology practice.     Located at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, our six-oncology physician practice treats various types of cancers & benign blood disorders, and we are looking for the ideal candidate to work with our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with established oncologists in the community and includes both patient centered experiences and exposure to clinical trials. 

The nurse practitioner or physician assistant would also have her/his own schedule of patients including those on treatment, routine follow-ups, and sick visits, as well as some inpatient responsibilities.    In addition to health education and counseling, writing prescriptions for medications, the nurse practitioner/physician assistant would collaborate in formulating treatment plans, and assessing and managing side effects of chemotherapy.
