Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Hiring for full time position:

• Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, Fort Eustis, Newport News, VA
• Monday – Friday with a regular 40 hour schedule
• No nights, no weekends, no on-call requirements

The clinic is devoted to the health and welfare of our servicemen and women providing a wide range of services including drug and alcohol counseling, PTSD treatments, family counseling, psychiatric triage, group counseling, and other psychiatric assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of one year of experience within the last three years routinely caring for psychiatric patients.
• Possess a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing.
• A valid unrestricted license as a Psychiatric or Mental Health Advanced Practice Nurse with Prescriptive Authority from any US jurisdiction
• A current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number (certification).
• Have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
