Monte Nido & Affiliates currently offers residential and day treatment programs in California, Oregon, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Currently, Monte Nido & Affiliates is seeking a Part-Time (8 hours per week) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for its day treatment eating disorder program in Portland, OR.
While working as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will have the following responsibilities:
• Provided medication management and psychiatric evaluations for adolescents and adults
• Provide in-service training and education to staff and clients as needed
• Maintains medical safety standards
• Oversees client care plans and the administration of client medications
• Serves as a liaison between administration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff and clients
• Applicants should also be able to work on-call as needed.
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
• Must have an active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon
• Must have current ANCC certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nurse practitioner experience required
• Previous experience managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital eating disorder setting is preferred
• Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills and safety awareness are required
