Monte Nido & Affiliates currently offers residential and day treatment programs in California, Oregon, New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Currently, Monte Nido & Affiliates is seeking a Part-Time (8 hours per week) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for its day treatment eating disorder program in Portland, OR.
While working as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will have the following responsibilities:
Provided medication management and psychiatric evaluations for adolescents and adults
Provide in-service training and education to staff and clients as needed
Maintains medical safety standards
Oversees client care plans and the administration of client medications
Serves as a liaison between administration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff and clients
Applicants should also be able to work on-call as needed.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
Must have an active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oregon
Must have current ANCC certification
Minimum of 1 year of nurse practitioner experience required
Previous experience managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital eating disorder setting is preferred
Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills and safety awareness are required
