Clementine Briarcliff, a Monte Nido affiliate, is a new program for adolescent girls age 13-17, which offers a model of treatment that blends the personalized and medically sophisticated care for which we are known, with the latest research and strategies for adolescents suffering from eating disorders. Located in a private residential area, this highly specialized medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical approach integrates comprehensive academic and family support within an intimate home setting. We work together to heal the entire family – instilling hope and trust.
Currently, Monte Nido is seeking a Part-Time (8 hours pe week) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for its Clementine Adolescent Program in its Briarcliff Manor, NY location.
While working as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing operations and functioning including medications and medical treatment
- Oversee scheduling, supervising and developing nursing staff
- Provide in-service training and education to staff and clients
- Maintains medical safety standards
- Oversees client care plans and the administration of client medications
- Serves as a liaison between administration, physicians, pharmacy, clinical staff and clients
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position is scheduled to work 8 hours. Applicants should also be able to work on-call as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
- Must have an Active / Good Standing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 1 year Nurse Practitioner experience required
- Previous experience managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital eating disorder setting is preferred
- Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills and safety awareness are required
