Job Description

The School of Health Professions at UT Health San Antonio is recruiting for certified physician assistants with excellent clinical skills who are interested in developing an academic career to staff our acute care clinic. The position may be considered as either part-time or full-time, depending on availability.  The selected provider will be expected to staff the School of Health Professions Saturday clinic, as well as provide clinical support for the School of Nursing’s Wellness 360 student/employee clinic. The selected PA must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), licensed by the Texas Medical Board and must have a degree from a CAHEA, CAAHEP, or ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.  Primary care or urgent care experience is preferred.  The incumbent may have opportunities to engage in academic activities such as teaching, research, and clinical rotations.
