Job Description
Olympia Emergency Care Physicians (OECP) is a physician-led, democratic group providing the highest quality emergency care in the Pacific Northwest. We have a tightly knit group comprised of physicians and APPs. We are looking to hire an APP with at least 2 years minimum of emergency medicine experience or completion of an emergency medicine fellowship.
Highlights:
- Our full-time position is 130 hours a month (about 13 shifts)
- Mostly 10 hour shifts. Some 8 hour shifts available.
- No night shifts.
- We are W2 employees.
- Hourly pay based off ED experience – Tiered hourly rates:
- Tier 1: (1 year ED experience) $79/hr
- Tier 2: (2 years ED experience) $86/hr
- Tier 3: (4+ years ED experience) $90/hr
- Tier 4: (5 yr OECP experience) $93/hr
- Tier 5: (10 yr OECP experience) $93/hr + PTO increase
- After the first full quarter, APPs become eligible for a substantial quarterly bonus based on a blended hourly + RVU productivity model. This structure significantly increases the hourly rates and rewards productivity, with high performers earning well above the national average for emergency medicine APPs. The quarterly bonus brings the total hourly rate to an average of $101/hr – $115/hr.

- Capital Medical Center is a non-trauma center but we have ICU, cath lab, L&D, and most specialties in house.
Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, OECP staffs MultiCare’s emergency department in Olympia, WA and an off-campus emergency department (15 minute drive from main campus). The city itself rests on the southern shores of the Puget Sound, between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. This allows for easy access to skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities. Olympia is within a few hours of some of the world’s best wineries.
The group benefits from partnership with Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians, Spokane Emergency Care Physicians, and Washington Emergency Care Physicians, bringing close to 5 decades of emergency medicine practice experience in the MultiCare Health System.
