Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a busy hospital-employed General Surgery practice in Ellsworth, Maine. This is a unique position where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with one of our experienced General Surgeons to provide comprehensive patient care. As a General Surgery Physician Assistant, you will enjoy working in an environment that provides supportive autonomy where we believe that the best patient care comes out of a collaborative approach.
Our General Surgery Physician Assistants have the opportunity to provide a wide range of patient care to include working in our outpatient clinic, rounding in our emergency room and inpatient unit, performing outpatient procedures, first assisting in the operating room, and performing pre-operative histories and physicals. This position also includes community outreach endeavors.
