Shasta Community Health Center (SCHC) is a private-non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center, established in 1988.  SCHC is looking for a full time NP/PA for the main center in beautiful Redding, California, known for being the second sunniest City in the Continental United States.  Enjoy state-of-the-art equipment, EMR, and a supportive working environment. We are a passionate organization dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate health and dental services for the medically underserved.  We need like-minded people to join our team of dedicated clinicians. NP/PA duties include: Provides health care services by performing the appropriate assessment including the history and physical exam, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, and implementing therapeutic treatment measures under the supervision of the assigned physician supervisor.  Works as an integral part of the clinician staff by participating in Medical Staff and PA/NP meetings as well as other projects and committees of ShastaCommunityHealthCenter.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Completed a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current license and be in good standing with the California Licensing Board.
• Current PA certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician
• Assistants, Inc., or NP certification through the American Nurses’ Association.
• Current CPR Certification.
