Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

How You’ll Contribute
Nurse Practitioner’s are in charge of initial patient intake. Reviewing previous medical records
Triage patient phone calls with the assistance of the ma staff
Educate patients and couples about the causes of infertility and discusses necessary evaluation, treatment and/or procedure plans
Review charts
Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure assessment and teaching
Go over laboratory results with patients
Work with the physicians on establishing a treatment plan
Consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing
Perform ultrasounds (Trans vaginal, and Trans abdominal)
Perform Inseminations
SIS (sonohysterograms) and HSG (hysterosalpingograms)
Assist physicians during IVF
Recover patients after anesthesia
Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience in OB/GYN or Family Practice required. Current NP license, current DEA. Strong clinical skills required must be a self starter and have a high level of customer service and experience doing office based procedures and ultrasound strongly preferred along with the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
This position requires continuing education in fertility as well as going to nursing forums where infertility is part of the curriculum. We offer an excellent comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary to commensurate with experience. $90,000 to $160,000
Full time position, this job requires some weekends and holidays
