Full-Time Orthopedic Physician Assistants (2 Openings) – Spine & Upper Extremity
Job Description
Coastal Orthopedics, located in Conway, South Carolina, is seeking two motivated orthopedic physician assistants for full-time positions: one to assist our upper extremity specialist and one to assist one of our spine specialists. These are full-time positions that offer an excellent compensation and benefits package.
In the role of assisting our spine specialist, the physician assistant will:
• Assist our spine specialist who treats the back, neck, and spine using surgical and nonsurgical methods
• Assist in surgery and treat patients in the office, hospital, clinic, and in our surgery center
• Work directly with our spine specialist and share on-call duties based on doctor’s schedule
• Work in our Spine Center
In the role of assisting our upper extremity specialist, the physician assistant will:
• Assist our upper extremity specialist who treats the hand, elbow, shoulder, and wrist using surgical and nonsurgical methods
• Assist in surgery and treat patients in the office, hospital, clinic, and in our surgery center
• Work directly with our upper extremity specialist and share on-call duties based on doctor’s schedule
• Work in our Joint Replacement Center
Requirements for both physician assistants:
• Must have completed an accredited physician assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current South Carolina license or be able to obtain a license shortly after the job is offered
