Job Description
Immediate practice opportunity available for a full-time PA working with highly regarded Interventional Pain Management Physician.
This premier Northern California multidisciplinary orthopaedic/pain management group uses minimally invasive techniques and state-of-the-art technology, employing modern procedures with enhanced patient outcomes and accelerated recovery rates.
Responsibility highlights:
• Conducts clinical assessments of office patients with appropriate documentation.
• Office practice to include individual schedule.
• Identify patients for interventional pain procedures/minimally invasive surgeries.
• Performs special clinical procedures under the direction of the attending physician. (ie: injections, intrathecal pump management)
• Medication management
• The Physician Assistant may perform preoperative histories and physicals.
• Experience preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time:
• 4 day work week

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program required. Licensed as a Physician Assistant in California, BLS and basic CPR certification required. DEA certificate holder preferred. DEA eligible required.
Maintains current NCCPA (National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants) certification by CME every 2 years and recertifies every 6 years by examination–required.
