Medcor is looking for a talented Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team for a Full Time Opportunity in our clinic located in Midland, Texas. This is a Monday – Saturday, 40 hours a week opportunity. The full-time Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical services in the client’s workplace clinic, practicing both primary care and urgent care. The practitioner is expected to deliver excellent clinical care in accordance with current, nationally recognized standards and guidelines to patients with diverse illnesses and injuries. This employer based clinic is anticipated to be fast-paced and is located in Midland, Texas.
The provider will practice alongside a registered nurse and medical assistant. The work week is Monday through Saturday (no call). The position requires a good working relationship with the employer, the supervising /collaborating physician and Medcor’s medical leadership. The practitioner will work in cooperation with the lead RN, and Medcor’s operations lead closer to ensure optimal clinic operation.

Required Licensure, Certifications and Experience
- Texas License
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants (AANP / AAPA) certification
- DEA certification
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Previous experience in primary care, occupational health or emergency medicine, is required. Successful candidates will possess solid clinical skills, 2-3 years’ of clinical experience preferred, Hold current unrestricted state licensure / certification, Proficiency with software is required (EMR, MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)Be self-motivated and display a friendly disposition, Use effective written and verbal communication skills.
