Wage Range: $135,000 – $153,231 a year

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Associate to join our dynamic nephrology team. The PA will work collaboratively with nephrologists, nurses, dialysis staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and those receiving dialysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused patient evaluations in the clinic and dialysis units.
- Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans in coordination with supervising nephrologists.
- Monitor patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), and kidney transplants.
- Evaluate and manage hypertension, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, and anemia of chronic disease.
- Perform patient education on disease process, treatment plans and dialysis modalities.
- Document all encounters in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with dialysis staff to oversee patient management and respond to changes in clinical status.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Associate program.
- Current certification by the NCCPA.
- Current (or eligible) PA license in the state of Oregon.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Nephrology or internal medicine experience preferred, but not required—new graduates with strong clinical skills and interest in nephrology are encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours – 4 ½ days/week
