Job Description

The Physician Assistant provides outstanding care after an auto accident.   Our team helps patients heal after an accident and offers offer premier care and treatment in a warm and welcoming environment. We stress therapeutic treatment options that include massage and physiotherapy to aid our patients in a gentle recovery. Our practice avoids manipulative therapies such as chiropractic care as this can tend to worsen existing injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition

Order and interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal

Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.

Complete required documentation and written follow up

Make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients

Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval

Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray or MRI.

Provide timely responses to patient inquiries

 

Qualifications:

Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Oklahoma

One or more years of PA experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and via email

Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters

Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision making skills

Demonstrated computer skills
