Job Description

The Gastroenterology East division of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to join our busy clinic located in the Gateway area of NE Portland (near the Max line). We are looking for a committed team player to provide high quality patient care in a team setting. The provider is responsible for specialty care services, including assessing and managing gastroenterology patients, while following established standards and practices. We treat all aspects of GI conditions and preventive care, our midlevel providers play a critical role in the care of our patients.  Prior experience within gastroenterology, internal medicine or family medicine a plus. 

Requirements:

    •  Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current Oregon NP license
    •  Minimum of 3 years professional nursing experience in a clinical setting required
    •  2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred, specifically in Gastroenterology
    •  Prior experience with Centricity a plus
    •  Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, office staff, patients and families
    •  Excellent communication skills and professionalism
    •  Strong committment to patient care, team concept and privacy guidelines
