Job Description

BASSETT HEALTHCARE NETWORK, a multi-specialty, rural academic medical center based in Central NY, is seeking a full-time physician assistant to provide patient care for our Division of Orthopedics at Bassett Medical Center.

 

There are 13 surgeons and 12 physician assistants in the Division of Orthopedics collaboratively providing care across the region. Several of the surgeons have fellowship training in subspecialties including total joint arthroplasty, shoulder and upper extremity, foot & ankle, sports medicine and spine. The qualified candidate will have clinic, inpatient and surgical first assisting responsibilities. The position requires approximately 24-48 hours of call coverage per month. Some travel required.

Candidates must possess national certification as a Physician Assistant. Previous experience in orthopedics and/or general surgery preferred but not essential. We offer competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits package, CME, and much more.
