Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for our Neurology team. This individual will provide patient care at the practice and Central DuPage Hospital while ensuring compliance with the established objectives of Central DuPage Health, including preserving the dignity and respect of each patient served.
You will collaborate with Physician in difficult or complex patient evaluations/decisions. Provides primary health care to individuals and families. The provision of care includes, but is not limited to: obtaining patient history, comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing pharmacological agents and treatments, and non-pharmacological therapies. Monitors the effectiveness of the therapeutic interventions. Makes appropriate referrals.

Requirements: Previous procedural. Neuro Otology / ENT and Neuro Clinical / Surgery experience preferred.

Education: Minimum: Bachelors degree in accredited Physician Assistant Program.

Licensure: General: Illinois Physician Assistant licensure Illinois Controlled Substance Licensure DEA Controlled Substance Licensure; Minimum: CERT BLS,LIC PA; Preferred: ACLS within 90 days of hire
