Full-Time Physician Assistant – Pain Management
Job Description
Riverside Spine and Pain Physicians was founded in 2002 in order to provide the most comprehensive pain management services across the first coast. Our goal is to provide our patients with high-quality individualized care through interventional pain management. Our clinic currently has eight board certified and fellowship trained physicians, four board certified nurse practitioners and two physician assistants. Presently we are seeking a board certified ARNP or PA to join our team in St. Augustine.
The ideal candidate will work directly with the physician in order to provide an advanced level of care to patients undergoing pain management therapy. The care provided will include assessments/evaluations, prescribing protocol medications/management modalities and ordering appropriate follow-up therapeutic treatment plans. The ARNP/PA will notify the supervising physician regarding any unusual or unexpected events or problems requiring direct physician consultation, will accurately document history, physicals, medical interventions and daily notes in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Also, must be able to perform various interventional clinic based procedures, proficiency with ultrasound and fluoroscopy a plus. Prior experience with pain management or orthopedics preferred.
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with minimal call and no weekends. Ideal candidate will have the ability to process high patient volume without compromising quality of patient care.
Minimum qualifications:
– Graduate of an accredited school offering an Advance Degree in Nurse Practice or Physician’s Assistant Studies
– Unrestricted license to practice in the state of Florida.
– Previous experience in a Pain Management setting preferred.
