The Medical Center of Southeast Texas,   Port Arthur, TX

Seeking a Psychiatric Board Certified mid-level (NP or PA) for inpatient adult and geriatric psychiatric services in Southeast Texas.  The Behavioral Health unit within this 224-bed, state of the art hospital provides comprehensive care to address the complex issues adults may experience in a behavioral crisis.  Team approach includes a variety of mental health specialists to develop treatment plans unique to each patient’s needs.

 

Port Arthur, Texas is less than 90 miles east of metro Houston, 20 miles from Beaumont and located in the Gulf area of the Texas coast. The oil and petrochemical business is a prominent component of Port Arthur’s economy due to its major seaways being utilized for transportation.  The area offers wetlands and Gulf beaches, salt and fresh water fishing and a comfortable year-round climate that is perfect to enjoy Sea Rim State Park, a completely natural beach.  Experience Cajun and other cultural influences through cuisine and music.  Port Arthur is where Texas hospitality meets Cajun charm!
