The Division of Hepatology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity available for a highly motivated, hardworking candidate for an Physician Assistant (PA-C) position. This individual will work in the outpatient setting on the Hepatology service with Hepatology Faculty.

The Candidate should be able to place appropriate laboratory tests and orders according the proper protocol. The Candidate should be able to write prescriptions and obtain complete medical history. This Candidate will be required to have an independent schedule where they will assess and evaluate patients for Hepatology, and be able to communicate a plan of care to the patient. Previous experience with Hepatology is desirable, but not required. At least two years of related work experience is preferred, would accept a highly motivated and ambitious new graduate.

Candidates must be proficient in English, Spanish a plus, and have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, be able to follow protocols accurately, and be highly motivated. An appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.

This position is M-F 8am – 5pm
