FULL TIME; PARTIAL YEAR CAREER
Full Salary Range: $43.85 – $55.59/hourly. Salary commensurate w/qualifications and experience.

Under the direct administrative supervision of the Counseling and Psychological Services Director and clinical supervision of the Lead Campus Psychiatrist or designee and in accordance with standardized procedures, provides specialized psychiatric nurse practitioner outpatient care, as part of the Student Health Services (SHS) Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).
The service emphasizes diagnostic evaluation and assessment, crisis intervention, medication management, supportive psychotherapy in conjunction with medication management, and consultations with other medical providers and counselors, and other campus administrators and staff.
This position requires advanced academic specialization and/or clinical experience in mental health on the part of the nurse practitioner.

Qualifications include:
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as listening skills
Demonstrated flexibility and organizational skills with ability to prioritize a high-volume workload and function independently under time pressures
Ability to work on several tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions
Ability to contribute to multidisciplinary team effort; carry out assignments in a responsible manner; participate in a positive and cooperative manner during staff meetings; respond well to supervision
